Ирина Палм. Един филм на Сам Гарбарски, който аз не можах да гледам през 2008г. на София Филм Фест и се сетих за него едва сега. Чудесен ЕВРОПЕЙСКИ филм с Мериан Фейтфул в главната роля - рок - легенда от 70-те. Номинирана е за ролята си в този филм, където изгражда персонажа на обикновена и невзрачна домакиня към края 50-те години, която не е работила никога и не умее да върши нищо. В един момент това се оказва проблем , когато трябва да намери пари за лечението на обичния си внук. В банката й отказват кредит, прекалено стара и неопитна е ,за да й предложат работа и така тя стига до положението, което я превръщата в Ирина Палм - най-добрата "дясна ръка" в Лондон. Естествен филм, реален, разказващ историята на едно семейство,изправено пред заплахата да загуби най-ценното - живота. За мен беше удоволствие да гледам този филм, комедийните нотки, които се прокрадват в сюжета оставиха в мен усещането за една прекрасна филмова вечер.

Irina Palm. A film by Sam Garbаrski,which I couldn't watch in 2008 at Sofia Film Festival. Great European film with Marianne Faithfull in the lead role - a rock legend from the 70s. Nominated for this role ,she build a character of a simple and plain housewife , at the end of her 50s, who has never worked and is not able to do anything. At one point, this become a serious problem , when she needs to find money for the treatement of her beloved grandson. Banks refuse a credit, she is too old and inexperienced for any job and so she came to the situation , which made her Irina Palm - the best "right hand" in London. A very natural film, real, a simple story of a family, facing the threat of losing the most precious, life. It was a pleasure for me to watch this movie, the comedy notes, which are creeping into the story , left me the feeling for a wonderful movie night.

The Koi,also known as the Japanese Carp is a bright golden, orange and white fish, sometimes depicted with red overtones. According to Japanese legend, if a Koi succeeded in climbing the falls at a point called Dragon Gate on the Yellow River in China , it would be transformed into a dragon, proof of its successful struggle against the long odds. Based on that legend, it became a symbol of worldly aspiration and advancement. More generally, the Japanese associate Кoi with perseverance in adversity and strength of purpose. Because of its strength and determination to overcome obstacles, it stands for courage and the ability to attain high goals. If caught, the koi is said to await the cutting knife without a quiver, in the manner of the Samurai warrior facing the sword. Therefore it is considered in Asian traditions as being the embodiment of honor.
When a man in the beginning of his life is ignorant of everything, he has no scruples, finds no obstacles, no inhibitions. Това е един от най- хубавите филми, които съм гледала тази година. Историята проследява живота на мъж на 40-45 години, който живее в Ню Йорк и страда от вид аутизъм и момиченце на осем, което живее в Австралия. Те и двамата водят обикновен, затворен и самотен живот, копнеейки за това, да имат приятел до себе си , с когото да споделят. Филмът е дълбок и трогателен, но сценарият е написан с онова тънко чувство за хумор, което балансира притока от силни емоции и състрадание и оставя позитивна следа в теб.

This is one of the best movies I've seen this year. A simple story of two completely different people- a man about 40- 45 years, who suffers from a type of autism, and an eight years old girl; it touched some very tiny emotional threads of my emotional world. To be alone and different, when you don't want that, could be worse than a course or is a course itself. . I'm impressed of the writing and I believe , that many people can find some answers and a way through. And that's the point I think- to make people think and feel. The film is deep and touching, but the script is written with that thin sense of humor, which balances the flow of powerful emotions and compassion and leave a positive mark on you.
Ирландия. Пътуването ми до тази страна беше невероятен късмет и една осъществена мечта. Не знам защо, но Ирландия е страна, която има особена, притегателна, харизматична аура за много хора. Има нещо мистично, загадъчно и много диво свързано с ирландския дух. Ирлан-дия е страната, в която могат да се различат над 70 цвята на зеленото, но със сигурност има и толкова вида дъжд. Красива е, остана за винаги в сърцето ми и аз определено имам към нея и ирландците особени чувства, които никога няма да изпитам към други страни- един вид- Love story.

Ireland.My trip to this country was an incredible luck and a dream, which came true. I don't know why, but Ireland is a country that has a special, attractive, charismatic aura for many people / especially for women /, except the British, of course. There is something very mystical, mysterious and wild, connected with the Irish spirit. Ireland is a country in which man can distinguish more than 70 colors of green, but certainly there are as many types of rain too. Ireland is beautiful, it has a special place in my heart and like the story, which happens with the people too -I have special feelings to it, something that will never happen with another countries, a kind of Love story, but the weather there is something that I can't cause to myself. Damn!

Това е най- вкусната риба, която някога съм яла. Приготвя се за 7 мин. Изядох я цялата, но картофите - е, не можах! Това беше огромно количество! Нищо чудно, че много ирландки са доста пухкавки...
Fish and chips. That was the most delicious fish I've ever eaten! It's cooked for only 7 min. I ate it, whole of it , mmmmm, but concerning the potatoes- I couldn't. Now I understand why so many irish girls look like so chubby.

Нощният живот в Дъблин е нещо, което съм изключително щастлива, че преживях и видях!! Нощем жените в Дъблин се преобразяват в пищни рокли, доста къси обикновено, много високи токове и много грим, пера, бои, шалове, изкуствени цветя и каквото се сетите още. Направо като театрално представление! Към 4-5 часа сутринта виждаш само останки от "костюмите", високите токове са най-голямото проклятие и ...всички са по двойки.
Абортите в Ирландия са забранени, често такива нощни фиаска приключват с брак..
ENGLISH: Night life in Dublin is something that I experienced and saw!! Yeah, and that makes me extremely happy! Irish know how to live... Women at night in Dublin transform theyself - they wear some lavish dresses, very short usually, very high heels, lots of makeup, feathers, scarves, artificial flowers and whatever you can imagine.It's like a theatrical performance! At 4-5 in the morning you can see only remnants of "costumes" ,the high heels are the biggest curse and ....all are in pairs. Abortion is prohibited in Ireland, such night fiascos often end with a marriage ..
