Legend about Bulgaria-

For you not to forget who you are

They left their lands to look for a better life

Without guessing that they would found a land,

More beautiful than the paradise…

Many died for that land, died to protect their dreams.

They took over empires, enslaved and killed emperors,

They did not bow their heads before nobody and nothing.

And were proud and had their honour.

Honour for them was everything.

And were stubborn, they believed in their destiny,

And they never stopped dreaming and achieved more than their

own dreams…

Their soul was the sky, their earth was the heart,

Their tears were a sea and their river were a blood.

God gave them speech unique and single,

God gave them voice gorgeous and unmatchable,

God gave them scent intoxicating and beautiful,

Gave them beauty incomparable.

Despite the pain which they had to endure,

They never succeeded in heating their enemies,

Because of that today Bulgaria and the

Bulgarian people have no present enemies,

Today they have eternal friends…
